Adolph Leaser Obituary

Adolph Leon Leaser, age 87, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on September 21, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1937, to Adolph Edwin and Sylvia Mae Leaser in English, Indiana.

Adolph attended English Sterling High School and later became a skilled Tool and Die Maker, working for International Harvester in Louisville, Kentucky, and later for General Motors in Decatur, Alabama. On September 13, 1958, he married Betty Grassman, and together they built a life in Palmyra, where they cherished family and community.

A proud member of the Masons in Fredericksburg, Indiana, Adolph was known for his love of the outdoors, animals, and country music. He was a dedicated worker with a remarkable ability to fix and create, using both his hands and his intellect. Adolph was an honest man who valued family above all, and he took joy in every moment spent with his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Betty Lou Leaser, and two brothers, Stanley Ray and Loren Eugene Leaser.

Adolph is survived by his daughter, Kelly Anne Leaser, and his nephew, Ronald W. Grassman, who was like a son to him, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2024, and again on Friday, September 27, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra. Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 27, at 12 PM, followed by interment at Palmyra Cemetery.
